1. Introduction

Focus Arena ("we," "us," or "our") operates  mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information when you use our App. By downloading or using, you agree to the terms described in this Policy.


2. Information We Collect

Account Information When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optional profile photo. Authentication is handled securely through Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).

Usage & Study Data We collect data related to your in-app activity, including Pomodoro session durations, completed tasks, study streaks, subject preferences, and statistical progress. This data is stored on our Firebase servers linked to your account.

Daily Plans Your personal daily study plans are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

Device & Diagnostic Data We collect basic device information such as iOS version, device model, and app crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics, solely for the purpose of improving app stability.

Purchase Information Subscription and in-app purchase transactions are processed exclusively through Apple App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details at any time.


3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and improve the App's features and services
  • To personalize your study experience and AI coaching suggestions
  • To deliver optional push notifications such as task reminders and daily summaries
  • To maintain anonymized leaderboard rankings
  • To analyze and resolve technical issues
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.


4. Data Storage & Retention

Your daily plans are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers. All other study data — including session history, statistics, and streaks — is stored on Firebase servers linked to your account.

Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request the permanent deletion of all your personal data at any time by contacting us at:

5. Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers
  • Secure token storage using Apple's Keychain
  • Firebase security rules that restrict data access to authenticated users only
  • Regular security reviews and dependency updates

While we employ industry-standard protections, no electronic storage method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access in all circumstances.


6. Third-Party Services

focus arena integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) — Authentication, Crashlytics, Realtime Database, Analytics
  • Apple App Store — In-App Purchase processing

We encourage you to review each provider's privacy policy independently.


7. Children's Privacy

Focus arena is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.


8. Your Rights

Depending on your country or region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • The right to request erasure of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • The right to restrict or object to certain processing
  • The right to data portability
